Who We Are?
The establishment of this body is born out of a burden and vision initially received
from the Lord through Pastor Olusegun Tubi on 17th of May, 1970.
The vision has since translated from establishment of a gospel training centre in 1974
which served many people for over one and half decades at Ilupeju-Ekiti in Ekiti State,
Nigeria and the neighboring towns especially Ayegbaju. Ekiti, co-labouring with other gospel
ministries over the following decade (i.e. including Christian Fellowship group), to a reestablishment
of a fully independent ministry, LABOURERS FOR CHRIST MINISTRY INT’L
in January 1, 2003 following two separate but unanimous resolutions reached by the founder
(Pastor Olusegun Tubi) and members of the church at Ayegbaju-Ekiti being the only
surviving congregation from the earlier established body.
In 2017, the Council of Elders met to review the name of the Ministry (LABOURERS
FOR CHRIST MINISTRY INT’L). The Council’s deliberation under the leading of the Holy
Spirit adopted a new name of the Ministry as CHRIST COMPANION BIBLE CHURCH,
registered as CHRIST COMPANION BIBLE OUTREACH WORLDWIDE.
